6. Reports

Everest Cast provides a robust set of advanced analytics and reports to help broadcasters track their station’s performance, listener demographics, and track popularity.

You can generate several types of reports from your broadcaster panel, primarily located under the Home navigation menu.

  • Listener Statistics Reports:
    • Real-time Stats: The main dashboard and the “Listeners World Map” give immediate data on current listeners, peak listener counts, and geographical location.
    • Historical Data: You can view detailed listener statistics over a period of time using the “Track statistics” section.
  • Track Performance Reports:
    • Track Statistics: This report lists every track played during a selected time period, including the number of listeners present when the track started playing. You can sort tracks by the number of playbacks to identify popular songs.
    • Top Tracks: This section ranks songs based on listener “likes” or votes submitted via your website widgets.
  • Royalty Reports:
    • Everest Cast has a feature to generate specific reports for music royalties, which can be necessary for compliance with performing rights organizations.
  • Total Listening Time (THL) Reports:
    • Some advanced versions of the software offer reports on the total hours listeners spent tuned in, a key metric for industry reporting.
  • Traffic/Bandwidth Reports:
    • The channels list on the home screen provides a summary of the data transferred (traffic) through each stream channel.
